Arrived to find the rain had just passed, the sun was out and the wind had dropped to around 14-6 knots. So, decided there was no point calling round for Al but rigged up 5.8m anyway and headed out for some underpowered runs.

At first I couldn't get out and had to slowly get washed ashore when I fell and there wasn't enough to waterstart. Then made it out back by pumping madly but was still under powered out back but rode the waves back in.

Hung around a while downwind until the wind filled in a little. Then started to make it out better and had quite a few really long runs out the back trying to get upwind again. Later the wind filled in so I was properly powered up and shot upwind. Made some good jumps today, finally landed jumps where I took off near virtically off steep faces and managed to get the tail of the board up and land off the wind and pump back onto the plane without getting out of the straps.

Good session, loads of the massif out. Started off a 1-2 star session but ended up a solid 4 stars.
